Yaguchi Mari: You're a heavy metal musician, but in private it's J-POP!
Marty Friedman: It really is so. Therefore I was wondering how I could learn this kind of music, and hoping to solve that puzzle I came to live in Japan.
Yaguchi: Hearing a world-famous artist giving so much appreciation to J-POP makes me very happy. What's so great about J-POP?
Marty: They use elements from different styles like pop, rock, metal, jazz and enka, right? That kind of music just doesn't exist outside Japan. It's not possible. As a musician, it's something that I thought shouldn't be left ignored.
Yaguchi: Then, who do you think is the greatest J-POP artist?
Marty: To tell you the truth, and this isn't just flattery, it's the music of Hello! Project. This is really the truth!
Vous pourrez également y entendre Marty dire : "The music made by Tsunku-san is perfect!" Rien que ça.
